advice for fitting 325 80 16 under 2002

I am going to lift my truck. I have been looking at 6" and 8" lifts. I have read a lot of props for Icon. What will give me the smoothest ride? I never go off road or muddin' nor do I do any heavy hauling. Is the 8" Icon spring kit good? Should I go with a hanger kit and a 4" spring kit? Help my spend my money wisely. I am looking for any advice....especially from people who have this elevation on their trucks.

planned mods:
6 or 8 lift
325-80-16 load range D
amp running boards
magna flow duels (already done and look AWESOME!!)
pocket style flares
dyna track crossover....(if needed) & free wheel kit (because my truck has 209000 on original unit bearings

Best riding quality would be a 4.5" hanger kit and 4" front springs. 5" rears and correctly valved Bilsteins.

will a 6" icon lift all spring be taller than it is now?
