Another Herculine question, but different this time...

I'm working on the inside of my E350 7.3L PSD. I'm building tool box / storage cabinets down the inside of the walls leaving ~ 50" in between for easy plywood hauling. I'm facing the boxes with 24g cold roll steel, with the intent of applying Hurculiner over it to keep the inside (of the van) looking nice even if it is getting roughed up a bit with loading/unloading stuff. After reading some of the posts on DIY bedliners, I'm wondering if folks have an opinion on the suitability to my application, or better recommendation. I wanted to install it, then brush/roll on the liner. Not nearly as rough service as a truck bed, so I figure it might just do.

505,

I'd go for it. i use the Herculiner for coating the trailer hitches on my truck and my wifes' suv trailer hitch. This stuff holds up to sand and salt winter driving quite well. Where ever regular paint won't work, Herculiner seems to do the job quite nicely, even if it not as nice as paint, but, hey, durability is what I'm looking for.

hopes this helps,

Butchcassidy1
