I am getting ready to get the bed of my truck sprayed with bedliner. I was looking at getting the bedrails sprayed also. I was thinking about removing the plastic bed rail covers. How many holes are there to fill in under the plastic rails? Has anyone taken them off and had it sprayed, if so do you have any pics? Thank you.
Will

spray on bedliner is the best option for your problem.
I have the spray on bedliner, holds up great to gravel/concrete/dirt. It is tough, durable and water resistant matter.
there are alot of holes under the rail caps. not worth even thinking of doin. also if u want to look for yourself be care pulling off the caps the tabs that hold them on are easy to break. but in my opinion leave them on. also have whoever sprays the liner remove the bed bolts and the access panel bolts on the tailgate before they spray it. u will thank me for that info if you ever have to remove your bed or fix your tailgate handle.

I would imagine there isn't much difference between a professionally done spray on, a do it yourself spray on, or a roll on, as long as it is done correctly. I have a spray in bed liner (Qwikliner), and have been very happy with it, and have had it for over 8 years.
Line-X is a top of the line spray in. I recently put one in my '01 PSD. I did an under-rail liner and had trouble deciding between Rhino, Line-X, or a DIY liner. A quick cap of the differences is this... A rhino liner is what is referred to as a cold spray, it goes on almost like a gel and takes anywhere from 3-24 hrs to be set up enough for use. Since it goes on like this it is almost impossible to spray the sides of the bed as thick as the bottom without the liner running, therefore you lose the protection on the sides. I have seen tons of DIY liners put in (mainly Herc's) and they all seem to have the same problem 1) Can't get it thick enough 2) First big time use it begins to peel or flake. The Line-X system is a hot spray and sets up in a matter of seconds allowing the spray to be even throughout the entire bed. It is set up between 80-90% in about 7 hrs I believe. I was in the shop today and a PSD came in with a rhino liner and comparing the two there is no comparison... Line-X takes the win... Just my 2 cents
