Bigger tires for my truck

I am looking for rims for my 2004 F-250. I dont have a lift, and dont want one right now. I want to get the biggest tires in the wheel well for my money. If you have any suggestions to replace the 265/75-16 let me know. Also, what is the recommendation for rim size. Do I stay with 16. Is there a large advantage from going with bigger rims.

Re: Bigger tires for my truck

I put 305s on my stock rims. I think you may be able to go 315.

I have 295/75/16 bfg ko's, and they don't rub.

Re: Bigger tires for my truck

Depending on what stock springs you have up front you will be able to run up to a 315/75/16, with no lift, as long as you dont go over an 8" rim. I have seen it done on a couple of trucks. It all depens on what springs you have up front. I would suggest a 295 or a 305 with a lift though.

Re: Bigger tires for my truck

My truck has 295/75/R16 Nitto Terra Grapplers on it. Seem to be good tires. Were on the truck when I got it. They look good since they're pretty wide. Got pretty good bite too.

Re: Bigger tires for my truck

So, it seems that the 295/75-16 is the popular choice for the no rub. I am gonna look into getting a set of rubber for the truck. I thank you guys. You will see me around.

Man Thomas, your 295s look huge compared to MINE. Makes me wish I had 10 in wheels instead of 8s.

Re: Bigger tires for my truck

I have 285's REVO's and they ride good and fit the factory wheels just fine.
