Bilstein Shock Help - PLEASE

Good morning all;

The wife and I are leaving for a 6,000+ mile road trip next Friday 31JUL09. I have an '06 F-350 SRW with 65,000 miles(vehicle in signature). I have Toyo 35x12.5x18 M/T on stock rims. I want to change the shocks before leaving (still have the stock "Rancho"). Should I go with the standard bilstien Blue & Yellow or 5100's? Also, can anyone supply part nubmers for the 5100's for a stock suspension? Also, who has the fastest shipping?

Thanks!

Unless you plan to lift, stick with stock replacements.

Pretty sure the 5100's are for lifted trucks.

You should be able to get the 5100's for stock. The biggest thing is they come with different valving for someone that may not have a totally stock truck or doesn't like the valving that comes with everything else. As for shipping... no idea.

Good to know!

To the OP, you may want to contact member Caryt, I know he has done quite a bit of work on fine-tuning suspensions and also sells custom Bilsteins
through his business, CT Performance.

BadDogPSd has it right, contact Caryt (Cary) here on the Diesel Stop and he'll hook you up. You may be looking at 5125's and about $350+ with shipping. They will need to be valved properly.
