What sort of gains do you get with that chip? I don't know if DPTuner increased their prices reciently or not, but for $75 plus shipping both ways they will burn one of their custom tunes right into your PCM and voila you have a very good (some would argue the best) tune in your truck for very little money! And you know it will work well with your truck. I don't think you can beat that deal.

Heck, that's what I did a few years ago and haven't looked back!

I would bet that is just a 10k mod or something similar boxed up to plug in. (Have a link to it?)
Either way I would steer clear of cheap anything for our trucks, Stay with proven dealers. ( I like Tony Wildman for tuning, he will be my next chip)

Pretty much a scam. I wouldn't buy that cheap junk. Cheap stuff is usually not good and good stuff doesn't go cheap as a general rule.

Im a rookie to this. and i'm going to look into your suggestions...I'm not even sure how these chips work. I am going to look into your suggestion to have a program burned into my PCM . I guess that will tie up my truck for a while. thanks
