Re: FogLight Bulbs

a 65 watt 9005 bulb fits in the fog light and replaces the 42 watt 9145. i used silverstars but any 9005 will work (ie. if you want that real blue tint)

Sometimes depending on color temperature it can be extremely reduced.

Re: FogLight Bulbs

what does the 9005 in the name actually mean?? Does this refer to size?? And are all 9005's the same?

Re: FogLight Bulbs

9005 is the bulb number...i believe it is a common GM high beam. when you go look at the bulbs it will become obvious....

Re: FogLight Bulbs

Will using a 9005 bulb in the foglights cause excessive heat or any problems? Thanks!

Cary </div></div>Really, the best choice is to rip the faux foglights out of there and to put some real lights in. If you like the look of OEM lights, I recommend the Hella Micro FF lights. Hella Micro FF lights in '02 Superduty

Four screws on top and 4 spring clips at the bottom. Then reach down behind the bumper, grab the lamp base and turn.
