Hub-Coarse or Fine Threads - Diesel Forum

I'm about to order BCA National hubs. Can anyone tell me if I need the the coarse or fine thread studs. 2001 f250 4wd. 4w ABS. Thanks

The best thing to do is remove a lug nut and check the thread size.

I count 12 threads/inch. Would that be a coarse thread?

Well since they are metric and there are 25.4 mm per inch, I suspect what you have is a 2.0 mm spacing. What are the choices? 2.0 is a fairly coarse thread.

On the site I was looking at, it didn't offer specific numbers. It only gave a choice of fine or coarse threads.

My WAG is they are coarse but to be certain you need to know what the measurement of the other size is.

Older trucks use 14x2.0 studs and '04 (maybe?) they went to 14x1.5 studs.
