Hummer H2 rims on an F350?

Just as the title suggests... Will the H2 rims fit on an F350 like they will on a Chevy 2500HD? I am in dire need of a new set of rubber for the Ford and I really like the look of the H2 rims on a 2500HD. I believe there will be some modification to the wheels to enlarge the center hole so it would fit. Has anyone done this before or know what may be involved in doing this modification?

Thanks, Tim

H2's are 8 on 6.5" while '99 and up Superduty's are 8 on 170mm.

Basically the wheel lug pattern is different enough that they won't fit.

Ok, so what do I have to do to be able to run that size tires? Or what is the largest I can run without a lift? I liked the H2 tires and rims because due to the offset on the Chevy you do not need a lift.

Re: Hummer H2 rims on an F350?

I believe the stock tire size on the h2's are 315/70/17. I have seen guys run 315's on stock rims without a lift, i dont know how well that would work, but i'm pretty sure they rub. 315/75/16 is a little narrow than the tire on the h2 but is just as tall. And they will fit on your stock rims, i would'nt recommend it but they will.

If you have a F350 or a F250 with V code springs you can run Hummer tires on 17x9 rims with only minor rubbing on the front lower valence. The key is 17x9 as anything wider rubs on the fender. My dad has this on his stock 2001. I put V codes on my X and will be doing the same thing.

Re: Hummer H2 rims on an F350?

I don't know what year your truck is, but check my sig. I run those tires w/mudflaps, I used big zip ties to pull the inner fenderwell back, no rub, and you can't tell I've rigged it unless you look really close. It has worked well for 9 months. BTW, Chebby rims on your Super Duty? That's blaspheme man!
