I am looking at needing some new tires. I don't want to do a lift or a leveling kit. My trailer tongue weight is over 1500 lbs and levels out the truck just fine. I really hate that butt dragging look that is so popular in SoCal.
My truck is a, '01 F350 4x4 CC long bed. I would like to step up a size on the tires to fill the wheel wells a little better. So far the only place that looks like it would be a clearance issue is on the front at the rear of the wheel well the plastic piece. If I step up to a set of 305 75 16s would I have to do anymore clearancing than that piece?
Who makes a good tire with a load rating of D or E that will last a long time, have good off-road traction(mostly soft dirt and sand), and not be real load? I have my eye on a set of Interco Trxus but don't have any experience with them.
Thanks
