I want to give my truck a more aggressive look. Right now it just looks real long (2005 crew cab long bed). I have 35" Nitto Terra Grapplers on it, with the 18" KR wheels. If I put a leveling kit on it the guy was saying it will add about 2.5" of lift to the front and about .25 to .5" lift to the rear. I don't want to go too high because I drive around a lot and am trying keep gas mileage to a max, but also want the truck to look good too
So what do you guys think? Throw a leveling kit and some hub-centric spacers on there to push those 12" wide tires out a bit to give it more of an aggressive stance?
A level kit won't raise the rear and I'd never use wheel spacers on the street.
A Bilstein BTS, RCD or Icon level kit will get you a better ride.

On the 2005 up trucks with coilsprings adding a spacer would keep the stock ride and give you a few inches. On a 2004 down I wouldn't even consider spacers or blocks on the front axle. I would look a new spring pack or a add a leaf. As far as a coil spring spacer goes I have used them on a few jeeps I have owned and had great success both on the road and off road.

Wasn't much for the coil spacer kit(<60bucks at the time for the spacers, brake line brackets and bolts)...the real cost was the Bilstein shocks.
Those pix are with the 315's on there...almost 35" tall tires too.

I just pulled a set of Daystar Spacers off when I put my lift kit on. Here is a pic of the Daystar spacers on my 2005 F350. Keep in mind its a F350 so it also has the taller blocks on the rear. They are a little under 4" tall compared to 2" tall rear blocks on a F250. I have the blocks availiable too if you are interested.
Just to clear up any confusion in my sig you will see that I put 350 blocks in also.

That's a nice looking rig, can I ask why you pulled em off and put a lift on for other than the obvious reasons? PM me the price if you would, because I'd be interested. A company around here wants to charge me about $410 for product and labor and I'm almost certain I'm getting the butt-end of that deal.
do it right....get a proper leveling kit with all the parts(not just a spacer kit). a track bar drop bracket(or adjustable track bar), shock extensions(or longer shocks), bump stop extensions and caster bushings are all needed for proper front end alignment, articulation and operation!! the kit in my sig addresses all those items!!

Thats a Donahoe 4.5" in my previous post. The truck rides and handles MUCH better with the DR 4.5" kit than it did stock. As I have stated before....DR/ICON costs more but is worth every penny!! Think about what you paid for your truck...do you really want to go cheap on suspension?
I agree with Tx... DR/Icon is great stuff. I have a DR 2.5" kit on my truck and it rides great. I would recommend getting an adj. track bar with whatever kit you get to recenter the axle (any leveling kit will shift the axle over to the driver's side).
