MileMarker Winch

Does anybody own a Mile Marker and have you been pleased with it? And don't say get a Warn. I would if I could but MM are 650 and Warn's are 1400 and I can't afford it. I did own a smittybilt xrc8 when I had my jeep it was 8k lb winch and I gave 300 dollars for it. I highly recommend it. I was brutal to it and got medievel on it a few times and it never let me down. I remember pulling out a 1500hd silverado buried to the frame but I did have to double line him and tie my jeep off to a tree to get him out. I sold it with like 30 pulls on it and it was still working great. They don't offer a 12k winch only 10k so I guess they aren't an option anymore unless you guys think a 10k would be enough for a 04 f250 supcab. So thats why I was looking at MM specifically their 12k

I did some pretty extensive shopping for a 9K winch a few months back and wasn't impressed too much by the $1200+ price tag on the Warns either. I was about to pull the trigger on one of these : Titan Offroad recovery equipmentand our new TW series Winches - TW12 (12000LB )WINCH

Search through this guys site, watch the videos etc. Prices are Canadian so a little cheaper when converted to U.S. $$. For the price they seem to be excellent quality. The specs are better than most at an almost budget winch price. $455 delivered at the time or $700w/ alum fairlead & synthetic line. Thats a 12K winch w/ remote and wired controls. I would get one over a MileMarker for sure.

Someone ended up giving me an almost never used 9K warn. Free was the right price so that's the way I went. Good Luck!

I was using the winch for a Samurai not the Excursion. 12K would be best not a 9 or 10K
