That's a good question> i'm about to do the same and forgot about the heating element. I do know they will bolt up.

Most people that do this already have the wiring for the power adjustment. Since you have manual mirrors now you will need the adjusting switch/joystick for your door along with the new mirrors. If you can find the wiring from someone that will help, but I've never heard of anyone finding it that way.
Good Luck. You will enjoy the new mirrors, are you going with the new '09+ mirrors?

i have power mirrors so that should not be an issue. The question at hand is will i be able to make them heated. My buddy has an 06 ps and his are heated there is no button just when he starts his truck they turn on as well. I was wondering if there is an extra wire or more that i may need to get ahold of or is just like a plug and play type deal?
cool that is very helpful hopefully i will have them on soon now iknow it wont be that hard just got to buy them now and we are in buisness thanks for your insight
I changed my manual mirrors to power/heated paddle mirrors (don't like the elephant ear style but wanted to do away with the scraping frost/readjust mirror drill in the AM).
Anyway, I had to run wires for the power and for the heat. It can be done. Check the heated mirror link in my signature.
