Need help on tire size

So I got a smoking deal that was difficult to pass on a set of 22" wheels for my 01 but I am not sure what offroad tire combo I can go with without having to spend the money I saved on the wheels on adding a lift, any thoughts suggestions?

BTW I got an 01 Lariat FX4

If your wheels are at least 8" wide, then you could probably mount the Toyo Open Country A/T in size LT285/50R22E. It's 33.2" diameter and 11.5" wide, so you might be able to run those without a lift.

OPEN COUNTRY A/T | Toyo Tires

Galcala- only way to keep from spending all ur money is too sell the rims for a profit and buy smaller wheels. anything over a 20" is guna run you big time for tires 33" and up. i had twentys with 35" tires and i just sold mine to get 18s. just about a 700 dollar tire difference

I don't know, but I doubt it. TireRack doesn't have that size in any of the major brands they carry. Toyo doesn't have that size. So it must be an off brand such as Pro-Comp or Mickey Thompson. So I don't know the diameter. But a Toyo 285/75R18 is 35" diameter, and that would probably rub big time. The 295/70R18 is probably also about 35" diameter, so I'd plan on at least a leveling kit if I wanted to run that size.

You need to hear from guys with 35" tires, not me. I stick with stock size tires.

I'm planning to run Nitto Terra Grapplers and a 2.5" leveling kit. The tire measures out to 34.41"

I put these Toyo's on right after I bought my truck. The factory tires had 3k miles on them (they're sitting on the rim in my basement still) when I bought these Toyo's.

I just put on my SECOND set of Toyo's 4k miles ago and I'm at 88k miles on the truck now. The take-off Toyo's still had over 5/8ths tread left on them - but the rubber was very hard from the age and constant heating/cooling. These aren't the best tires for snow, not the best for mud and not the best for highway, but they do all of this very well and they do not ride like a normal mud tire.

Today, a set of (4) installed, balanced and with a complete alignment cost me just under $1,100.00 at Town Fair Tire.
