Question Need some help - 08 mirror on an 04?

Im having to replace my DS mirror and was wondering if the 08 mirrors will work on my truck

Yes, will have to do some wiring. Where are you getting the mirrors? I want some and wife said she would get them for me for Christmas.

I put some on my '00 earlier this summer. They bolt right on, except that one side has a little plastic nub on the backside that has to be shaved off. 10 seconds with an angle grinder.

One of the best upgrades I have ever done...

Yes, I imagine there is, plugs may be different, and the 04 doesn't have power telescoping and folding mirrors, so that wireing won't be there.

I've got them and they are WELL worth the money. The mirrors come with a new style plug, so you just have to clip it and wire it up. Like stated above, there are a small indexing tab on both mirrors that need to be ground off. Here is what you need, check my prior post.

Ditto on the 08 mirrors being worth the money. You can just see so much more over the pre 08 mirrors. If you pull a large trailer and you do much backing up, it makes a tremendous difference.
