oil temp guage?

I have an oil temp guage from ISSPRO and i was wondering if it was worth the headach of install it? And where does it hook up?
Any insite would help i just finished putting the cab back on and this guage is the last one i have left.

Sorry Mike, I like you post but it seems that no one is reading oil temps. I looked for the same questionand thats how I came to this post although mine is a 2006.

I got a billet oil filter cap and drilled and tapped for my sender....

I can not speak for the 6.0 PSD, but on the 7.3, there is a plug just beside the oil filter that can be used for a temp probe. I have both oil and coolant temps and they run pretty much in lock step all the time, even when working the truck hard.
