Question when installing the 05-07 headlights on the 99-04s

Doing the front end upgrade on my 99 to the 05-07 style. I noticed the headlights Ive got off ebay dont have the screw type adjusters in the back side of the backside of the housing like the 99-04 style does. I know when doing this conversion you are to replace the header panel, but there is a write up with pics that shows just trimming away part of the header panel for the headlights to fit. How do these 05-07 style lights attach, either with a trimmed header or the stock 05-07 header? Am I missing something off the backside of the new headlights?

Thank you

IF you get the new header panel they attach with two screws on the top of the housing and two on the bottom.

If you cut up your current header panel, here's when I did mine:
Installing 05-06 headlamps on a 99-04 SD - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together

Also, the 05-07 heads only have vertical beam adjustment. It's the torx looking screw sticking up. You can use a 5/32" 6 point socket to adjust them.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, so if the the headlamp is screwed into the header panel on top as in that write, can you still adjust the angle of the lights?

Yes, the adjustment is in the housing itself....it doesn't adjust the headlamp assembly in relation to the header panel.
