Skyjacker Stainless steel brake line problem (Nut came over the flare)

So, when installing my brake lines today, (not the first set) I had a problem with the passenger side hose to caliper fitting. The nut that slides over the flare came off the elbow before the elbow was secured. The nut actually came over the flared end. Has anyone ever had a problem like this? I am assuming that the problem lies in the flare not being flared out enough. Help me out here.

Either that or the line nut is the wrong size. Unless you're very experienced with making double flares in stainless, I'd be getting a new hose.

Skyjacker should give you a new one, no questions asked.

I would be a little concerned about using a product of that nature with that degree of quality control and would make my opinion known to the manufacturer

Alright guys. I am going to give Skyjacker a call, and try to get this problem figured out. I appreciate all the advice.
