Suspension?

Is this what I need?
Hellwig Anti-Sway Bars Sway Bar - Rear - 1 1 - 4 in. Diameter - Steel - Black - Ford - F-250 - F-350 Super Duty Pickup - Kit | StreetPerformance.com

I have the RS9000s ready to add and want the sway as well. The currently is no sway bar at all. I have to find a kit with the included hardware.

You would be better off finding a stock 30mm rear sway bar from a junk yard..best fitting and works great

What to get/ask for at the junkyard ? Are the F250's and F350's the same 30mm ? Does it matter if it was DRW ?

The down side, my Ex never had a rear bar. So I need all the hardware as well. Are you guys saying the same bar and hardware for the F250/F350 are the same for my Ex?

I put a Hellwig bar under my 03 ex. It made a major difference in handling. It was an easy install. It came with all of the parts needed to install it.

I recommend it.

See my sig.

Hi I am new here but here's what i have.
I just bought a lifted 4x4 diesel 7.3.It has a bunch of upgrades such as tvs stereo steps that come out etc.here is my problem it sways all over on the freeway.I have read other posts but this truck has a 8 inch lift coil over spring suspension in front with heavy duty drag links and all bells and whistles 22 inch rims 37 inch tires its re geared and looks like it was dona all legate.I changed all bushings and drag link checked air in the coil overs lubed what needed to be lubed and this thing still sways mostly in rear.It doesnt have any beef in back like ladder bars sway bar or even heavy duty shocks...I know its a mammoth but i want to stiffen it up and make it feel strong straight and reliable.WHAT DO I DO? Mymain concern is all the sawy in the back. Also can you turn off the rev sensor the guy said he did but i think its broke THANk you very much.

You might want to start a new thread for this. It is a new issue and you might get more responses as a new issue. But, that said......

Pick up? or Excursion? What year? How many miles on it? How old is the steering damper. I do not know about the shocks but I would guess the steering damper may wear out.

I do not have a lift, much less 8 inches, but my Ex was sloppy in the front until i took it in for a front end alignment. I had to take it back because of the looseness of the front end control. They tightened up the track bar bolts and that took care of it. So, depending on the year and miledge you might want to walk (yes I said walk- AN 8" LIFT!?!?!?!) around under the truck and tighten things up. Remember that some of the torques are pretty tight. MOst are normal. But the track bar bolt torque for my 03 Ex is 450 foot pounds. So, if they didn't get them torqued tight enough when the install was done by now you may have some loose connections.
