Taillight assembly, won't come off!

Hello all, I need some assistance with a little something if you don't mind, thanks in advance!

Anyways, I was trying to install a light bar this evening, and i need to tap into the reverse light wire, behind the taillight cover/ assembly. I took off the two screws, and it is like it is stuck in there! I pried against it, and it won't pop out. Is there some sort of plug in there or something holding it? It is loose, but it just won't pop out, I am lost.

Thanks again for any input!

Once you get the two bolts out, just pull straight back. There are two pins on the side holding it in. The pins snap in, so it feels like it's not going to pull out but it will. Just apply firm, steady pressure as you pull and it will come out.

Well I got it all figured (i feel a little stupid now). I ended up just yanking it, and even though it felt like I was definitely going to break something, it turned out that they just popped off the little clips, and all was well. I thought I needed some special tool or some damn thing. Thanks overfly.
