Towing Mirror Upgrade

I have a 2000 F450 7.3 PSD and I would like to upgrade my towing mirrors with an 03-07 power signal mirrors. Is this doable without major modifications and if I can what is required? I'm assuming new wire harness is required. Appreciate any information.

My 02 had the paddle mirrors when I got it. I wired up the signals to the main harness under the dash but I can't recall what colors. I wired the heated elements to the hot side of the power window switch feeds. I didn't need any new wiring harnesses as I cut/soldered where I needed it.

Thanks Blk88GT for the installation link. I just order the Kool Vue mirrors with the heated and in-housing signal light from Auto Parts Warehouse.com. Can't wait to get them installed.

Lou, are you interested in selling your old mirrors?

I just put '08 mirrors on mine. If you ever use them you'll never want the others.

Do you have any information how to install the '08 mirrors? Do they fit up properly? Any info on the wiring? Interested to install on my '99.

Installed them on my '99. Just need to wire the turnsignals.

D/S mirror: RD-right/left movement, YE-motor feed, DB- up/down movement, LG/WH-turn signal, BK-defrost,turn signal ground, DG/VT-switched defrost, BN-parking lamp...

P/S mirror: DG-right/left movement, YE-motor feed, VT-up/down movement, WH/LB-turn signal, BK-defrost,turn signal ground, DG/VT-switched defrost, BN-parking lamp..

I am upgrading mine (07) heated, power manual extend and fold to the 09 power everything. I have them mounted and wired but need harness 14A413? Does anyone know where an 08-10 is in a junk yard?
