Trackbar vs. Bo xkit what do I need?

I have the Superlift 2 inch hangers on the truck in my sig. I want to lift it up another 2 inches so I decided to get some X-springs.

I think I am going to need an adjustable track bar among other things. Can I use the track bar drop bracket and use the factory track bar or do I have to have the adjustable? What are the differences among them, I have seen them range greatly in price. Which one are you guys using and where did you get it from?

Also, Do I need to get a dropped pitman arm? sway bar links? anything else? I am trying to stay as inexpensive as possible, while do it safely. If anyone has found good deals on this stuff please point me in that direction, or any sponsors that may carry this stuff please let me know.

Also, anyone Have the part numbers for the x-springs? and what are you paying for them? I was quoted 180 a piece by Ford. I tried to search but couldnt find them.

Re: Trackbar vs. Bo xkit what do I need?

Definently need to address the track bar and relocation geometry...I would suggest an-adjustable one and a dropped bracket...I used the one that is threaded and adjusts like a tie rod...

Good luck on getting 2 inches on the X-springs...but they will roughen the ride!

Dropped pitman arm would be good and stabilizer link ends as well..cheap insurance...thats not a bad price on the leafs, if that is both...dont forget the u-bolts as well..

Good luck..

Re: Trackbar vs. Bo xkit what do I need?

If you don't have any adjustment with your hangers then you'll definately need to do a drop pitman arm and a trac bar relocation bracket. As for the x-springs you'll get 1.75" max. I paid 130.00 each plus 40.00 for u-bolts/nuts. Fordpartsonline.com has them for 120.00 but then you pay 30.00 each for shipping. You can turn the mounting hardware for your steering stabilizer upside down rather than getting longer links.
