What is this factory stabilizer you guys speak of? I put the full traction kit on my truck with no stabilizers and I have zero probs. I also lifted a friends truck and with atlas leafs and that thing was everywhere until we put on the steering stabilizer. Tires were definitely taking over.

I have the same problem but i have no steering stab not even stock im going to tighten my gear box becuz i have bad play due to the roads tht i drive down and the big tires tearin everything up but i was also told that it could be my trac bar which is supposed to stop axle wrap (the axle moving left fwd right fwd and vice versa) and it is supposed to be torqued to 400lbs and i havent been able to tighten it but people say i prob have bad bushings my truck is torn apart now for oil cooler fix so im gunna tighten my gear box and see about the bushings and ill let you know if it fixes it mine not only does it over certain bumps but also if i try to come to a stop too fast it scares the hell outta ya.. ill update you soon my truck should be done fri tht is if my cooler gets here.

Didn't read all the responses so not sure if this was mentioned but you can also get a "death wobble" if your Trac Bar is loose or if the Trac Bar Drop Bracket on the frame has worked itself loose... These need to be TIGHT and I mean TIGHT, especially the lower Trac Bar NUT/BOLT where it mounts to the axle on the passenger side... I have 2 lifted Fords with Dana 60 front axles, each of which has a Trac Bar and each has had an issue with the Trac Bar working itself loose... I torqued all nuts/bolts to spec and used Green Locktight Thread Lock and they seem to be behaving lately... Just another thought...

Death Wobble happens when your track bar is loose or has broken bolts too...I know.
