upgrading mirrors from 02 regular sig/heat to 04 tow sig/heat

i recently purchased,on ebay, some 04 tow mirrors with the yellow turn signal and heat "the new nice ones" to replace my 02 mirrors with the led signal and heat. the new mirror wires are cut. there is no adapter on it and The new mirror came with 8 wires and i just looked and found my old one has six wires and it looks as if the wires dont match up in color. If anyone can help please let me know. I would like for them to function like 04 mirrors should.
thanks,
cory

I downloaded the instructions off this site and had my stereo guy hook them up. He did both in about 2 hours.

Re: upgrading mirrors from 02 regular sig/heat to 04 tow sig/heat

Has anyone found any links to instructions on how to wire the new mirrors or has anyone done it themselves? Please read original post for my full question.
thanks,
WX
