valving ????

Hello,
I have a 06 diesel fx4 that I am lifting 6", I wanted to run the bilstien 7100 series with the remote reservoir up front. I know that the one I need is the 10in travel model. I found them at a great price on eBay, the only thing is there valving is 170/60. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about valving for shocks. I do mostly on road highway city driving. I want it to ride smooth but I really like the look of the reservoir shock. If anybody had any input I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
