Wireless Keyless Entry Keypad

I just bougut a 2002 F350 and the guy I bought it from had threw in one of the wireless keyless entry kepads for me to put on. (Part # 3L2Z-14A626-AA ) The problem is that he lost the instructions, and I don't know what the factory default code is to set it up. is there anywhere I can download the instructions?

Re: Wireless Keyless Entry Keypad

I think that it might be impossible to do this without the factory default code. To my knowledge, each one has a different PIN from the factory and that PIN is needed to program it to your vehicle.

Re: Wireless Keyless Entry Keypad

From my understanding, the keypad simply broadcasts the same signal as your key fob once the appropriate sequence is pushed.

Call Ford and ask them how to do it - they'll tell you.

Re: Wireless Keyless Entry Keypad

I had problems getting mine to work , I know its not popular to praise dealerships by many here but I just stoped by my dealer and he set it up for me no charge no problem . Might at least be worth a phone call .

I anticipate that it ability be absurd to do this after the branch absence code. To my knowledge, anniversary one has a altered PIN from the branch and that PIN is bare to affairs it to your vehicle.

I had a problem with programming my wireless key pad and here is what i did to fix it. First u need to get all the key fobs that go to the truck. put your key in the ignition and turn it to the on position(don't start the truck) go from off to on 8 times. on the 8th time (in the on position) the doors will lock and unlock to confirm you are in the program mode. hit the lock button on each fob after each key fob it programmed the locks will lock. do this to all the key fobs. now to program the wireless remote type in any 5 digit code you want. the locks will also give u a conformation they respond to the new pad. once everything is programmed then turn the truck off and take the key out. you can test all the fobs and then enter your code on the key pad.. they all should work. here is a fyi if u press the last 2 buttons on the keypad it will lock the doors on the truck also after u out in the 5 digit code the drivers door will unlock if u hit the 3 button after the 5 digit code it will then unlock all the doors. good luck hope this helps.

Thanks.
