X-springs on a 1999 F250 2WD?

Looking for a way to level my front end on my1999 F250 2WD and need to replace the front springs anyway. Would X-springs do the trick? What shocks would I need to go with?

No. Code X front springs are leaf front springs for a 4x4. Your 4x2 has coil springs and "twin I-beam" independent front suspension (IFS).

The biggest, baddest front coil springs Ford made for your pickup were code L = 4,850 pounds @ground. That came on mine. Bigger Ford 4x2s had monobeam front suspension with leaf springs, so trying to fit F-450 front springs won't work.

Using the specs below for the code L front coils, maybe your local spring shop can make you some that are a tad stiffer?

4,850 pounds = combined weight rating @ground
12 inches = height of spring @ design load
4.0 inches = inside diameter of the coil
0.831 inches = wire diameter
751 = deflection rate @ ground ( pounds per inch, each)

Thanks for the help. I guess it might be easiest to get some spacers and new shocks.
