ZOODAD complete--Wont have trouble with snow in Michigan

Before I finally did the Zoodad mod I got a grille cover kit. Now when I go to MI. and to ILL. during deer season I wont have to worry about my filter getting frozen up, but reap the bennifits here in Texas. This mod plus the AIS fender sleeve a couple of days ago have got my egt's down and they drop quicker at idle before shutdown time. They hit 250-225 range at idle now, hope that helps prolong turbo life.

Re: ZOODAD complete--Wont have trouble with snow in Michigan

Are there any data to suggest that the grille/airbox mods contribute to better fuel mileage?

[/ QUOTE ] With the 2 OZ of weight you remove by drilling the holes in the header panel it's got to get better fuel mileage.
