'03 F250 A/C problem

My A/C was working perfectly and I went out of town. Unfortunately leaving the keys for my mischievious uncle to run my truck through his pond. I returned home to the A/C not working nor blowing air through the vents. This tells me there's a lack of vacuum (leak, line off, pump, etc). There's a gray line that is routed along the passenger side fender that was off. I replace it to where I thought it was supposed to go but nothing has worked. My next question is could this be the vacuum pump mounted on the passenger side inner wheel well? Is there any possible way something could have sucked inside it causing it to not draw enough vacuum to operate the vents/AC properly? On the gray vacuum line, does anyone know if it goes to something mounted on the valve cover or to a fitting up under the cowl panel right where the hood hinge is? Any help here guys is very appreciated.

If this ends up being a vacuum pump problem is there a good place to get one or just get one from Ford?

Pull the vacuum line off the pump. Can you hear vacuum leak off? Turn the key to the run position. Does the vacuum pump come on. If the pump runs, but you had no vacuum when you pulled the hose off, there is a vacuum leak somewhere. If the pump doesn't run, check the fuse. If the fuse is good, replace the pump. If fuse is blown, replace fuse and see if it blows it again. If it does, replace the pump. The most common area for a vacuum leak is under the dash on the passenger side where the hoses connect. Hope this is helpful.
