1999 F350 2WD RC/LB 7.3 TDI intercooled price?

Hi all and thanks in advance for any help. My friend wants to sell me his 1999 F350 2WD SD with an intercooled 7.3 and auto trans. The truck only has 30000kms and was his dads truck untill last year when he bacame to ill to use it any more. My friend installed a very nice CD player and gauges on the pillar pod. He also just put on 4 new Michelin radials. It also comes with a good antitheft system and the fifth wheel hitch and tailgate and custom rear bumper. The truck is mint and flawless in every way. HE wants $18500 Candian for it. I think thats a smokin deal and I could use a good tow rig. IS this a good deal?

$18,500 Canadian is about $16,600 U.S.

30,000 kilometers is less than 19,000 miles. Not even broke in good yet.

Which cab? Which trim?

Surf to the "car" prices sites and look up the truck. Maybe put in the zip code of the nearest town in the USA to get it in U.S. dollars.

I put in zip code 98037 (Seattle area) for a regular-cab XLT 4x2. Per NADA, $16,600 U.S. would be a good price. If it's a SuperCab or CrewCab then it would be an great price. If it's an XL work truck, then it's not worth nearly as much.

Kelly Blue Book has lower prices. If it's a regular cab, KBB thinks $16,000 is too much, even if it's in like-new condition.

Its an XLT with all power options. Regular cab and long box with 5ver hitch and tailgate and custom bumper. He may throw in a custom made aluminum dry box that will hold my Honda 3000 generator too. He recently installed a top line alarm and remote door opener along with a very nice CD player which I get also. Also he just serviced the trans with synthetic oil [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
