All I have right now is an intake. He has an intake, exhaust and bully dog chip.
If we were to hook up on pavement, what would be expected?
I know he'll kill me in drag race, but the duramax has got better #'s and is a bit lighter.
What will be the outcome (both drag and pull) when I have 4" exhaust, and DP Tunner Chip, in AT LEAST 80 mode? I know this is vague but just gimme some ideas...

I seem to recall someone saying that to me when I went up against a 2003 3500 6sp Cummins... While I knew I could outrun him, I knew his motor was killer. Regardless I pulled him backwards, and my truck was bone stock as was his.
I know I'd get toasted in a drag race, the duramax's are fast. Yet I do not think his truck will be able to pull me. I guess the only way we'll find out is hookin up! I will be smart though, and wait until I've upgraded similar to what he has.
If you are hooking bumper to bumper, the taller heavier truck will win every time. Of course you will go home with a now useless General Motors bumper...what are you going to do with it?

I was also reading on the Chevy forums last night. His truck would still be considered the "weakest" first generation Duramax. After I chip up, I don't really think he'll be that far ahead of me in a drag race. I'm not worried about that though, because if he wants to race fast he'll just go pull out his nova with like a 454 on NOS that runs 9 seconds @ 135 mph I think? lol! so yeh... Those #'s maybe off a tad.
