2007 wheels on 2000 ??

both 4x4 trucks. Will 2007 F250 wheels fit on my 2000 F250? I thought I read somewhere the offset was different.

Thanks

Yes the offset is different. You need to space the '05 up wheels out about 2" on your 2000, to prevent tire leaf spring interference.

Good luck

'99-'04 inset was 0.25" (also called 0.25" negative offset). '05-up inset is 1.57". Safe spacers to make up the difference are expensive. Cheap spacers are killers, and good spacers cost as much as good wheels. You're usually better off to buy wheels that have the correct offset/inset for your truck, instead of using spacers on wheels with the wrong offset.

Thanks for the info! I saw a set on Craigs list for a good price. I thought it might not be so cheap in the end.
I think I will pass on this one. I see another set of aftermarket Eagle Alloy 16 x 8 w/ 285/70/16

Be alert. 285/70R16 sounds like a typo. TireRack.com had zero tires that size. Our tires are usually LT285/75R16. Be sure the tires have at least 3,000 pounds weight capacity each.
