4x4 light out

I have a 02 F350 7.3 and the 4x4 light doesn't come on. I checked the fuse and it's ok.
I did put warn hubs on but I never checked the light before I changed out hubs so I'm not sure it worked before that.
Another issue I have is the airbag light blinks once then three times then stays on steady. Could these two issues be related?
In the manual the fuse #19 is for 4x4 Module and Body Safety Module.
Any help on what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

The 4x4 light has nothing to do with the hubs, just the transfer case.
The light is operated by a position switch on the t-case, indicating what postition the shifter shaft is in.
I THINK the 4x4 light is supposed to come on for a test when you first turn on the key. If it doesn't it may just be the bulb that's bad.

The ABS light flashing means you have a problem in the ABS, but I couldn't find a 1-3 light flash code. It's a visual shortcut to DTC's for the ABS. It's not related to the 4x4 light issue.

My 4x4 and LOW lights haven't worked for awhile now, but I know when I put it in 4-hi and 4-low so I'm not really that worried about it.

The 4x4 light on the dash cluster does come on at start up for a second.
The light on the switch doesn't come on and the transfer case doesn't engage.

I just replaced my transfer case switch and it soved the problem that you are having. My early '99 4x4 lights did NOT come on at start-up for a ligh test. I was under the truck and decided to tes the switch. You can force the indictor on the dash to come on by disconnecting the switch on the transfer case and grounding one pin at a time. one pin should activate the 4x4 light and one should activate the low range light. If the light does not come on it is a bulb, if it does come on, your switch is no longer completing the circut to ground.

On my '99 the only local place to get a switch was the dealer at $58.00! It all depends on what you want to do. I live in the great whit north and we are heading for another winter season quickly. I wanted my 4x4 lights to work this year, I went through last year w/o them.
