I work out of town and my 2002 F350 CC is not run for a 2 to 3 week period. Any suggestions about storage? Can I crank without injection somehow to get oil through engine before starting? I am getting concerned with the cold weather coming and starting the unit after it has been sitting in the cold for some time
The engine will not start until you have built up sufficient oil pressure so you are wasting a worry there. If possible, I would keep a trickle charger on the batteries though, preferably a good one that will monitor the charge rate and kick in as required and not boil things over. If you change your oil regularly, you should be OK.

I wouldn't worry about it. during the winter mine will set for up to a month without being started in an unheated garage with the temperatures getting down to 0 or below.
My only concer would be the brake calipers setting up. I used to let my truck sit for a couple of weeks at a time, and my calipers locket up and stunk up the joint. My mechanic lubed them up, and said to drive the truck at least 1 time per week.
That was when my wife and I used to carpool to work together in her minivan (22MPG). Now I'm on an earlier schedule and I have to drive my truck to work every day, 50 miles round trip, 15 MPG!
5W40 synthetic oil, would help cold starting, and maybe a battery tender to keep the batteries fully charged.

My truck is stored all winter in an unheated shed. I change the oil, diconnect the batteries, add some fuel stabilizer and algicide to the tank and fill it up. Park and cover. That is it for 6 months and in the spring, I just hook up the batteries and start it. If you are going to let it sit for 3 weeks at a time, you might want to consider disconnecting the batteries, but other than that, you most likely will not have an issue. Plug it in overnight before you start it to get things warm in the cold weather.
Any recommendations for a circulating coolant heater, oil pan heater or should the OEM block heater suffice just heating on the one side. Temps could drop to -30 C (-25 F) while the truck sits.
The block heater heats the coolant and it circulates through out the cooling system and heater via convection. When I lived in Duluth, MN - minus 40 was not uncommon. Car parked outside overnight, block heater plugged in, windshield was clear and inside semi warm just from the block heater. Releasing the clutch always resulted in stalling the car several times till the gear oil in the transmission and rear end allowed the gears to turn through it.

when i was deployed i had a trickle charger on it. my brother drove it and never put it back on. it sat for five months that way. when i got home i changed the oil and then it fired right up as if i drove it the day before. my truck has 175000 and was stored out side in norcal.
I am also in Northern Cal. And my truck sits on the driveway for weeks at a time. I will start it and vary the RPM's until I feel warm water in the upper hose and then I may put it in drive and go 10 feet forward and 10 feet back and shut it off. My old '86 sat in the back yard for MONTHS at a time and never failed to fire up.

I drove mine 150 miles last Tuesday night. It had not been driven since I changed the oil on September 19th. That is an unusually long time for me but 2-3 weeks is common.
