99 Dually mirrors

The stock mirrors on the dually, are they designed to slide in and out, or are they fixed? Ever since I got my truck I wondered this, but cant seem to get mine to move, but the paint on the arms is scrapped as though they did move. Only thing I can think of is the original owner clamped another mirror on them and scraped the paint off.

Yea they don't extend, the lower mirror doesn't adjust and they don't fold forward either.

But you can replace them with 2002 TTT mirrors that telescope in and out as well as bend both forward and backward. The fisheye mirror is still not adjustable unless you take it apart and put it back together again with procedures in the "contents" area off the home page.

For newbees, TTT is short for telescoping trailer tow elephant ears.
