Re: ? about tires before i buy 295 or 305s

Lots of off-roading = 295's
Little off-roading = 305's

I have a 3 inch leveling kit on my '99 and the 305's I have on it would definitely rub if I took it off-road.

Re: ? about tires before i buy 295 or 305s

I have 305's Toyo Open Country, 3" level kit, V code springs. Would have to drive off a cliff for them to rub.

Re: ? about tires before i buy 295 or 305s

I run 305s on my stock truck and have never had them rub. I had 315s, but they rubbed at full turn. I go in the mud alot down deep ruts and never have had them touch anything.

if you are keeping the stock wheels, go with 295's....

Re: ? about tires before i buy 295 or 305s

305's, love em, don't go off road much at least nothing with any uneven terrain or sharp switchbacks. Goodrich All terrain TA KO
no lift took out the 2.5" block in the back. Only rub a very little on the rib of the mudflaps I put on. Ride much smoother than stock also have a lower max air pressure. Saw a 2mpg drop from the OEM. I wish I could get the 2mpg back but the tires look great and grab much better in the slick grass and mud than the all terrain OEM.

Re: ? about tires before i buy 295 or 305s

With your 3" leveling kit you won't have any problems running 305's. Be prepared for milage to go down however. I really like my Toyo AT's.
