The black paint on the F250 Badges on my 2006 F250 is flaking off . How are these mounted? Is it worth worrying about ? Could these be repainted with better paint? Anyone else have this problem? Re: Badges

If you are still under your 3/36 warranty, go to your local dealership and have them replaced for free. I had to do this for my 05 and both 06's. The new ones seems to hold up much better as well.

Re: Badges

I may do that. I bought the extended bumper to bumper 7 year/70,000 mile warranty.

Re: Badges

the f350 badges have (2) pins in them, but I would take them back to the dealership.
Good luck,
Steven

Re: Badges

I had mine replaced under warranty late last summer. So far the new ones are holding up well.

Some folks have ordered custom Billet Badges for their trucks. They look nice, but I decided to get mine replaced for free for now.

I do sincerely apologize if you received a virus from the above post & link I had made. I did not in any way shape or form intent to make any post that would knowingly contain, or link to a site that contained virus, spyware, worms etc. I was totally unaware of the fact in as much as my antivirus software ( Norton Antivirus & F-Prot both running latest updates ) never detected it.

Again my apologies for the problem with my post
