CAMBER

JUST WANTED TO START OUT BUY SAYING THANKS TO ALL THAT HAVE POSTED ON HERE,,, BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM,,, I JUST PUT A 2' LEVELING KIT ON MY 2WD 2000 DUTY,,, AND THE PASSANGER SIDE HAD AN AJUSTMENT FOR CAMBER, BUT THE DRIVER SIDE DID NOT,,,,,, DO I JUST ORDER A DIFFERENT SHIM FOR THAT SIDE OR DID I DO SOMTHING WRONG,,,,,,,, AND THANKS

Not real familiar with the 4x2 front end, but the only way you could adjust camber (wheel leaning in or out) is either with the upper ball joint sleeve or by changing the location (up or down) of the axle beam pivots, which I think would take a frame bracket modification. You will need another upper BJ bushing. The front end must have had an alignment and they put in a service bushing on one side but did not need to change anyhting on the other side so it has the fixed bushing.

yes the cams or bushings on the upper ball joint is how you adjust you caster and camber. you can buy cams of different degrees according to what you need. your local alignment shop should be able to hook you up [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]
