computer code?

I read a thread the other day that some computers make the truck run better than others, depending on the code. Is thier away to tell what code I have other than the cap on the computer. I lost mine somewhere along the way.... stupid I know.

might try posting in the 7.3 engine and drivetrain section. Probably get a much better response.
