dome lights

a couple months back my dome lights started staying on after i hooked up to a trailer(i think) they would stay on and go off at 10 mph and the door ajar sign would do the same so i eventually stopped noticing it and lived with it looking back i think it stopped but a new problem arose the door locks for the most part stopped working on all 4 doors (crewcab) and recently i put new lock selonoids in and now the lights are back on anyone had this problem or know the fix.
