driver's door will not lock

2003 Excursion. After my truck got broken into last week, I have made myself even more reminded to double check that the truck is locked. So I always hit the button until the horn honks twice. Well last night after church I locked it and went inside. I realized I forgot something, so I went back out thinking I could just use the keypad to get it and I noticed she was unlocked. I tried everything to get it to lock. Nothing worked. Not the remote, not the keypad, not the button inside on the armrest, and it pops back up if you manually push it down. I leave tomorrow on vacation for 10 days and I need some help here. Any ideas?

well, at lunch I went out to the parking lot and took the door panel off. Found the the thief destroyed the tumbler. So for now, the linkage from the tumbler to the actuator/locking mechanism is now removed and all works well. After the trip I will be looking for new locks for my truck.
