Front leaf springs?

So now that I'm looking to get a lift kit, I've been studying every F-350 I see on the road.
I've noticed that all of them (except for a work truck) had coil springs in the front.
My truck has leaf springs all around.
Did it come from the factory like that, or are the front leaf springs after market?
Now I'm wondering if I own an old plow truck!
It's a 2001 F350, cc, drw, PSD 7.3.

All 99-03 trucks will have leaf spring fronts on 4x4 models, all 99-03 2wd will have coils in the front. Like fordsforever73 said all 05 and up have coils on all models. Start checking trucks that have the same grill as yours and that will be the same year.
