Front leaf springs clunking at slow speeds???

My 99 4x4 sounds like the leaf springs are hitting each other when loaded and then unloaded at real slow speeds. You can hear a clunk about where the rear of the springs attach under the cab. Its very annoying. Is there a fix? I have the snow plow heavy front leafs installed. They have been on for over 75,000 miles with no noise. All bolts appear to be tight.

Try checking out your sway bar links, it's common for these to be shot and will give you a clunking noise.

That's a good question.I have an 03 F250,and have had to replace mine twice.I can only find OEM ones from a dealer.I have tried local part stores w/ no luck. They only seem to offer rears. If you do a search someone responded to me once about aftermarket bushing you can buy and have them pressed in.If I can find that post I'll let you know.
