Front Rotors & ABS

My front rotors are badly warped on my '99 (4X4,SC,LB). While pricing new rotors my parts man says my '99 may have 4 wheel ABS or rear only. I don't see any wires going to my front hubs or a tone ring like on my Jeeps, just my brake line and vacume line for hubs. Any quick way to tell all wheel ABS from rear only? Thanks for any help, this site is great.

If you have abs you should have a vacuum line, brake line, and an abs line going to each front hub.

The ABS line on the front goes in from the top of the hub assembly. If I recall it was an option on the early 99's, and standard on the 99.5 and up. Mine was built in June of 1999 and has the 4 wheel. The ring is inside the hub assemble on the fronts.

Look real close as the ABS is not routed with the brake line sometimes to make sure. Since you have warped rotors consider getting the Power Slot rotors and Hawk pads, it has cured my brake pulsation and I now have no fade and more braking power too. We stock them all call us if you have any questions, the cost is basically the same as Ford parts too, maybe less depending on your parts dept policy.
