Fuel Mileage?

What kind of mileage should i be getting?
I just baught an 05 250 super duty crew cab (Demo w/5000 miles). Been Driving it for about a month like my 83 year old dad and still only getting about 10 MPG. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Something isn't right with it. I have the exact same truck with 5700 miles and I'm getting 15.7 city 19.5 hwy. Check your tire pressure if you haven't done so already.

diesel, right?

You should see about 13 to 14 city and 16+ highway (not towing...totally dependent on speed and how fast you start at lights/signs)

Your truck is not broken in yet. They break in from about 8,000 to as much as 15,000 miles.

Yes it's a Diesel, and the tire pressure is @ 75 P.S.I.

Something is bad wrong!!
If you are driving easy on it you should see 14 at a MINIMUM.
Like stated above, if you are driving 55-65 you should see 17-18 on average, if not more.
