Re: Help- My radio WON'T TURN OFF!!
Well, I'm back to civilization, so here's my update. Before I posted last time, I had unhooked the batt's to make sure they didn't drain while the truck sat over the weekend. It sat for a day and a half, and when I hooked the batteries back up, it worked normally again. I gotta think it's something in the radio itself- this thing seems to do what it pleases, when it pleases. Possessed, maybe?
Should there be constant power to the "radio" fuse? I don't know if that circuit should be relay-triggered before or after the fuse. I'm guessing that it should provide constant power to the radio- most head units use a constant (+) and a switched (+).
Something funky in the column, huh? I didn't test the windows, but I'd have to think that they'd be affected, too- right? Well, it's working- for now. If it keeps acting up like this, it's gonna end up being a good excuse for a MP3/XM upgrade.
