how much did you pay?

I had brake problem while on vacation. front pads gone. rotors need turned and 1 caliper is frozen.

How much do you think a repair like this should cost?

I just worked on these in the last three weeks. I bought the parts at O'Rielly's. I may not have the prices exact but close. Pads $37. Caliper $65 with a $50 core charge. I priced rotors $75 but found a shop that turned mine for only $5. (yes only five dollars). O'reilly's would not turn my rotor. They told me the specs on what they could turn and they were only 10 thousanths difference from what the new one was. In other words, because my rotor measured 13 thousanths wear and not less than 10 thosanths, mine was out of their spec range to turn. Good luck with your project.

Just had my front brakes done, Parts were $47.00 for Pads, Rotors were about 80 dollars each and Calipers were $65.00 before core charge. Plus $200 for labor (including doing an Oil change).
