Jack Handle for 2000 F250

When I went to lower my spare tire, I realized that my jack and handle are missing on my 2000 F250.
The bracket on top of the radiator is empty.
The only part I care about is the handle, so I can lower my spare.
My son used his young eyes to look down the plastic tube and he says it looks like the bed bolts 6 point star.
Does anyone know what it actually takes.
Thanks,
Pat

Lowering Spare Tire

We just took a second look and it looks like something is missing.
Is there another way to lower the spare tire.
Thanks,
Pat

Thanks to expertrider

Searching for answers, I found this post, Spare Tire Key from expertrider.
He says use 2 feet of extensions, a cheap tiawan 9/16" 6 point socket, a ten pound sledge.
Drive the socket over the key. Crank to lower. Start to finish is 3 minutes- tire on the ground.
It works great every time!

I will search more next time before I post a question.
