Are the jack the same for the F250 and F350?

I bought a used truck that was missing the jack. Found a nice cheap one on ebay and it says its for a F250. I cant imagine the jack are different, but wanted to make sure before I buy it. Any ideas?

If it's the same model year, it's the same jack. The jack has changed a bit over the years, but any of them should work for your truck.

Personally, I haul around a huge hydraulic bottle jack plus a plywood base to sit it on in case I have to change a tire with the jack in the mud. I don't think I've ever used the Ford screw-jack that came with the truck. When towing on long trips, I also throw a 3.5 ton floor jack in the bed, with an even bigger piece of plywood for a jack base. You don't want to try to change a flat on a tandam-axle trailer in a muddy barrow ditch with just the stock Ford screw-jack.

Cool, I bought it. On long trips I plan on bringing my big floor jack. But this small jack will be handy for around town if I get a flat.

I carry one of these for my boat trailer.

Mine is a little different but same principle made out of some 2 X 6 lumber. You'd be amazed at how quickly you can change a flat on a dual axle trailer. Just drive the good tire up the ramp and it lifts the flat tire off the ground.

I got one of them for my truck from the parts counter, it is a yellow telescopic hydraulic jack that is stamped and it only cost me around $50 if I remember correctly. I'm not sure if it came on all dually trucks or not, I was thinking it only came on F450 and 550's.
