"Jingling" noise

I keep hearing a "jingling" noise while driving... more apparent when going over bumps. It appears to be coming from the front end. What in the wide world of sports is it? Caliper brake pad pins? Sway bar seems tight after a quick driveway inspection. Any ideas?

Thanks-

Re: "Jingling" noise

check all of your exhaust clamps. I noticed one of mine was "jingling" because it was loose. No more jingle after I tightened it up.

I've got the same noise, I think. It seems like it is coming from the hub area...

Re: "Jingling" noise

Another jingler here. There was a thread about this a long time ago that said what it was. I was going to check mine and forgot to do it and now I can't remember what it was. Maybe someone with a better memory than me will chime in.

Re: "Jingling" noise

I had the same jingling noise in my 1990 F-350 and found that the nut in the lower center of the left front coil spring was loose. This allows the large washer to bounce around and make the noise that you are hearing.
In order to tighten this nut I had to jack the truck to allow enough space between the coils to get a wrench in there.

Hope that this helps.
